Current role
Anca Poirier joined CDSPI in 2006. In her current role as a bilingual advisor on the CDSPI Insurance Advisory team, she provides personal and professional insurance guidance and advice to Canadian dental professionals and their families.

Experience
Anca is licensed as a general insurance broker and as a life and accident and sickness insurance advisor. She has obtained her CAIB designation, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from Ovidius University in Constanța, Romania.

With her many years of dentistry-related insurance experience, Anca provides guidance to dentists on a range of situations. She has developed specialized knowledge in the area of risk management for dentists who are considering building a practice or renovating an existing building.

Outside of work
Anca has a variety of interests outside work, including attending musicals, reading, travelling and spending time outdoors.
