Current role
Jaye Walter joined CDSPI Advisory Services Inc. in 2019 as an Investment Planning Advisor based in St. Albert, Alberta. As a senior-level wealth manager, Jaye focuses on dentists at all stages of their careers, providing financial planning solutions that address their investment, retirement, tax, business succession and estate planning goals, while minimizing exposure to risk.

Experience
Jaye is a born and bred Albertan who has been working in the financial services industry since 2000. Starting as an options trader for a major bank, he moved on to work as a financial planner for a variety of major banks as well as operating a firm of his own. He has largely worked with high net worth clients, including many small business entrepreneurs.

Jaye strongly believes that building trusting relationships begins with finding common ground, so he’s happy to share his own experiences, often with a good dollop of humour. Clients also benefit from his expert knowledge of markets and their relationship to the economy.

Outside of work
Jaye has been involved in politics as a constituency organizer and candidate for office in both municipal and provincial elections. He is married with two young children who occupy a good portion of his “free” time. He also teaches classes at local colleges about financial planning.
