Current role

Julie Berthiaume joined CDSPI in 2005. In her current role as Senior Advisor, Julie provides educational sessions on insurance and risk management strategies to dentists and dental students across Canada.

Experience

With over 15 years of industry experience and an extensive background in claims, Julie uses her experience and expertise to advise dental students and dentists on their personal and professional insurance needs. In her visits to dental schools, Julie provides insights and educates students on the risks that can be addressed with insurance and ways to help protect their financial future.

Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree from Carleton University. She is licensed as a general insurance broker and as a life and accident and sickness insurance advisor. She also holds the CAIB designation. In Quebec, Julie is licensed as a Damage Insurance Broker, Financial Security Advisor and Advisor in Group Insurance Plans.
