Current role
Shiv Ghuman joined CDSPI Advisory Services Inc. in 2019 as an Investment Planning Advisor based in Calgary, Alberta. He provides investment planning expertise in the areas of retirement and wealth management, tax planning and estate planning. Shiv is focused on delivering financial planning strategies that help clients clarify their goals, and then grow and protect their personal and business assets to achieve them.

Experience
Shiv started in the financial services industry in 2000 and has lived in Calgary since that time. Working in the banking sector, he has provided financial planning solutions and strategies for high net worth clients in a variety of occupations, including many professionals operating small businesses. He is a strong believer in the benefits of consolidating assets for more efficient long-term planning and portfolio management.

Shiv values clear and frequent communication to keep his clients informed about the status of their investments and to stay current with their changing circumstances. This has proven to be the best way to build confidence and trust over time.

Outside of work
Shiv is married with two children who are into a variety of sports, which keeps him quite busy. In the community, he has served on the boards of not-for-profit organizations, and he hosts a Punjabi music show on a multi-cultural radio station in Calgary.
