Could your practice be required to shut down due to Coronavirus?

The World Health Organization has officially declared a global health emergency as the coronavirus continues to spread internationally. It’s impossible to say what course the disease will take in Canada, but there is the potential for a pandemic outbreak.1

If an outbreak were to occur in your region, CDSPI’s TripleGuard™ Insurance2 plan automatically provides coverage when you are prohibited from entering your office by a civil authority or public health official.3 You are eligible to claim up to $1,000 per day after the first 24 hours (up to a $20,000 aggregate annual limit). Your claim payment is the amount of actual loss sustained.

You can increase your pandemic outbreak coverage up to $2,500 per day (to a maximum annual limit of $50,000) for an annual premium of $300.66. Or you can increase up to $5,000 per day (to a maximum annual limit of $100,000) for an annual premium of $601.33.

To apply for an increase, complete a TripleGuard™ application form and send it to insurance@cdspi.com or fax it to us at 1.866.337.3389. Please call us at the number below if you have any questions.
