As a follow up to my message earlier this week, I want to assure you that we continue to advocate on behalf of TripleGuardTM policyholders across the country for pandemic-related claims to be paid. I understand the urgency of the situation and we are working as quickly as we can with Aviva, the insurer, for solutions.
In my ongoing discussions with Aviva, they have advised that the individual announcements by your provincial regulatory bodies are unprecedented, increasing the complexity in finding a uniform solution. They are reviewing these announcements as well as recommendations and decisions from various governments and will continue to work towards a resolution.
