Good afternoon,
I hope you are staying well. It’s been a few months since my last TripleGuardTM insurance update and I’m pleased to report that virtually all pandemic claims have been paid out, representing claim payments to over 6,500 dentists. I am so proud of the work our teams did to make this happen!
Recently, as COVID-19 infection rates have begun to rise again, we’ve started to get questions about how TripleGuardTM insurance pandemic coverage will respond if there is a second wave. Today, I’ll share where you can find answers to those questions, along with some helpful links to other pandemic-related resources.
It’s important to be equipped with information to help you plan for the future and avoid any surprises. Making sure you understand how your TripleGuardTM insurance pandemic benefit works is part of this and I encourage you to read this FAQ.
Staying on top of the recent changes to government subsidy programs announced in the recent Throne Speech, is also important. I invite you to read the highlights as summarized by our accounting partner, MNP.
Lastly, I want to share some back-to-school tips for those of you with children who recently returned to school. Here are 10 tips to help ease the transition for kids and parents, courtesy of The Personal, our Home & Auto insurance partner.
I hope the FAQ provides further clarity on what to expect from your TripleGuardTM pandemic coverage in the future. We’re committed to sharing any updates to your TripleGuardTM policy for 2021, as soon we receive confirmation from Aviva Insurance Company of Canada.
Stay safe and well,
Ed Dermit
