About the Job:
The Insurance Sales Associate & Administrator provides administrative and client service assistance to the Insurance Advisors. The role will strongly emphasize administrative ability, client relationship development and the ability to prioritize efficiently and effectively. A proactive, dynamic individual with strong attention to detail who thrives under pressure under a rapidly changing environment will excel in this role.
This position represents a current, existing vacancy within the organization.
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this role is $55,000-65,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for comprehensive benefits including participation in our Group RSP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a consistently high level of customer service to new and existing clients in order to ensure client retention and business growth.
- Answer the main telephone extensions and respond to client enquires and concerns.
- Check the general email and fax inboxes and follow up with clients and advisors.
- Work with insurance advisors to gather data from clients and prospects.
- Prepare Certificates of Insurance, Pre-complete applications, prepare notes for clients, Print statements for clients as needed.
- Prepare quotes as requested by advisors and email to clients on behalf of the advisors.
- Prepare forms, new account packages and marketing materials for clients and advisors as needed.
- Update client profiles on Wintegrate, the firm’s internal database.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Insurance Advisory Services or the VP Advisory Services.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage several tasks concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills are a requirement to be able to work effectively within a high paced environment.
- Experience within the insurance services industry in a similar capacity is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Work Environment:
Hybrid model: Work from home and the office.
Attend CDSPI's Toronto Office as needed in accordance with company policy.
