Insurance
Malpractice Insurance
Hygienists, certified dental assistants, dental nurses or dental therapists in any province or territory (other than Quebec) who are employed by an eligible dentist and need to purchase their own malpractice coverage, are eligible to apply for CDSPI’s Malpractice Insurance plan. The coverage offers up to $2-million per claim, to a maximum of $6-million per calendar year, with a low $500 deductible at a premium of $106.99. Ensure you have confirmed that the coverage terms and coverage limits of the CDSPI Malpractice policy meet any requirements as set by your governing regulatory body*. Apply online or give us a call from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm ET at 1.800.561.9401 to learn more.
*Please note this policy does not provide an Extended Reporting Period (tail coverage), for insureds who are employed as dental hygienists, certified dental assistants, dental nurses and dental therapists.
Life, Accident and Disability Insurance
A comprehensive package of essential insurance coverages is available to all dental office staff working at least 18 hours per week for one or more dentists who are members of a dental association in Canada. Cover the things in your life that matter most and help protect your ability to provide for your loved ones.
