CDSPI and MNP Announce Strategic Agreement

TORONTO, March 28, 2023 — CDSPI, the leading provider of insurance, investments and tailored financial advice to dentists and dental students across Canada, and MNP, one of Canada’s leading professional services firms, today announced a new strategic agreement to provide exclusive access to accounting and tax solutions that support Canada’s dental community.

This agreement between CDSPI and MNP will broaden the services available under the CDSPI umbrella of programs. Canadian dental students, and dentists will now have access to preferred pricing on a wide variety of personal and business accounting and tax services offered through MNP.

Some of the benefits of this agreement include:

Dental students:

    • No cost basic tax returns for dental students across Canada who are protected by the no-cost insurance program, and their spouse.

Practising dentists*:

    • Discounts of between 10% and 20% off MNP standard rates for a variety of services including, incorporation planning, cyber consulting, review of practice appraisals, and access to MNP Innovation Workshop for minimizing the dental practice's tax burden.
    • Discounts of 25% off standard rates for MNP's Health Check review of risk in areas of internal controls over fraud.

*Discounts for MNP services through CDSPI are available to dentists who are members of a participating provincial or territorial association, or the Canadian Dental Association.

This agreement with MNP enables members of participating dental associations to access preferred pricing on tailored accounting, tax and business consulting services from MNP, a respected Canadian organization, while remaining under the CDSPI umbrella of services with a broader suite of end-to-end financial solutions, focused on dental professionals’ needs.

With this agreement, clients have preferred and discounted access to services that are customized to the dental community —including:

Dentists must be a member of a participating provincial or territorial dental association or the Canadian Dental Association to take advantage of the preferred pricing on the services of MNP.  

Dental students do not need to be dental association members.

Dental students who participate in the no-cost student insurance program and their spouse/partner are eligible to receive no cost basic tax returns through MNP.
